‘Vintage’ as described by the Oxford Dictionary means ‘The time that something of quality was produced’. During our rebrand we discussed at length the idea of dropping ‘vintage’ from our name, concerned that the real essence of vintage has been lost in the melee of mdf sweetie-carts, log slices, homemade bunting, flowery china and the like and wondering that as a theme has vintage reached saturation point?

As we see interior trends changing to embrace moody colours, rich shades, velvet fabrics, glamorous dark woods and travel trends like global inspired prints and colours from Morocco or Rajasthan we know that the event decor trends will follow in the same direction. Tastes are changing, so where does this leave us?

We believe event decor should not be limited to just one style, modern, vintage or rustic but a carefully blended mix and match of styles to create a sophisticated event where furniture and decor from past and present work in harmony with each other. We don’t underestimate the power of blending and combining different eras and styles and know that adding in antique or rustic elements into event decor adds an elegant natural charm and a warm and comfortable feel that will never go out of date.
