Claire and Richard of Upton Barn and Walled Garden recently opened a wedding venue set in the heart of the Devon countryside. The venue features a beautifully restored walled garden with an oak framed arbour, which is licensed for civil ceremonies. The old Cider barn has been transformed and has traditional oak beams with a full height window at the gable end and it was here that Claire and Richard hosted their official launch party in May 2015.

To celebrate the launch Claire decided to do a styled shoot for the venue and wanted to involve local quality suppliers to help capture the romantic ambience of Upton by creating a look that was simple and light with an understated elegance.

Step in Virginias Vintage Hire, armed with furniture and decorative props to help Claire style the barn, we worked alongside friends and suppliers old and new to help Claire create the look she wanted. Once the shoot was over it was time of the bar to open, the music to begin and the party rolled into the night…. Congratulations Claire and Richard, we wish you all the very best with Upton Barn.
