Over the weekend 9th-10th August we were lucky enough to supply our vintage furniture and props to 7 weddings across the country. We are always delighted to be involved in all the amazing weddings we get to supply our furniture to and never lose sight of how joyous these days are for everyone involved. But over this particular weekend, while these celebrations were taking place not so far from us the plight of innocent people caught up in the conflict between Israel and Hamas very much caught our attention.

Hundreds of thousands of people fled their homes and were in desperate need of food, water, shelter and medical care. The massive humanitarian need in Gaza wasn’t something we could just ignore, so we decided to donate all the profit we had made from the weddings that weekend to the Gaza Crisis Appeal run by the DEC, Disasters Emergency Committee.

We thought that some of the money spent on the happy days being enjoyed in England that weekend would help make someones day a happier one during the conflict in Gaza. We would like to thank the following couples for their donation to this appeal via Virginias Vintage Hire:
