Festival Round Up 2015

Festival Round Up 2015

Our collection of vintage chairs, tables and props provided some rustic chic as the busy festival season got underway this summer, and we proudly supplied our furniture to some of the UK’s best festivals including Glastonbury, Port Eliot, Wilderness, Somersault and Camp Bestival.

June saw us teaming up with the incredible ‘Pop Up Hotel’ at Glastonbury. The Pop Up Hotel offers a luxurious glamping experience right inside the heart of the festival, allowing guests to retreat from all that frenetic energy (and mud!) to relax in comfort and enjoy some of the services of a boutique hotel.

We were approached to furnish and style some of their fabulous luxury Tenthouse suite’s with a selection of leather chesterfield sofas and chairs, rustic tables and benches plus the bar and restaurant areas with wooden bars, tables, chairs, vintage wooden blanket boxes and an array of other vintage treasures to set the scene. Our original 1960’s black and cream Vespa scooters where also on site to celebrate the closing night performance from rock legends The Who!

In July we enjoyed a welcome return to the beautiful Lulworth Castle for Camp Bestival, with Yorkshire Tea for the second year running.

Yorkshire Tea created a lovely calm area for unwinding and taking a moments breathing space from all the action using our Bromsgrove leather sofas, chairs and coffee tables to create a unique space devoted purely to relaxation and not surprisingly, the joy of drinking tea. Ahh bliss!

A few days later in early August we were off to Oxfordshire with sofas, chairs and tables to create the lounge area at Wilderness for Martin Millers Gin. Our Bromsgrove leather sofa proved to be a very popular addition to much needed festival comforts this year offering the perfect opportunity for a moments ‘feet up’ with a G&T!

Our first time working with the award winning Martin Millers whose secret lies in the purity of the Icelandic water used in their award winning gin. All this must have had a strangely subliminal impact on Greg and I as not long after we booked a last minute break to Iceland!

The lovely Seasalt team from Falmouth had a whole array of wonderful activities going on at Port Eliot Festival this year and we were delighted to help them out by supplying our vintage trestle tables; and our colourful, and quite beautiful ‘Ludlow’ folding wooden chairs. Have a read of their blog and see pictures of our furniture and accessories displayed at their event;
